Alran Yun
A Talai politician.  First non Human to be elected president of the Commonwealth of Planets, in 2585, serving for a single term.

Alyssa Varsi
Human politician.  Elected 65th president of the Commonwealth of Planets in 2795.

Amacapatl I
The first empress of the Adirati Star Empire, following the unification of Adira Prime in 2232.  Ruled until 2280.

Anthea Curtis
A renowned Human archaeologist and xenobiologist.  Born on the colony world of Blarney in 2304, Curtis showed a keen interest in archaeology from an early age, occasionally visiting dig sites with her uncle Silas Wilton.

In 2326, at the age of 22, Curtis joined her first official archaeological dig, on Firaxis II.  She showed great promise, and was praised for he skill and dedication by the expedition leader.

By the early 2330's, Curtis was already setting up her own expeditions, and in 2333 she lead an expedition to Beta Verendi III, where they unearthed the first known Jarun'da outpost, that had laid dormant for over 100,000 years.  This, and later expeditions, would lead to Curtis' greatest achievement, the discovery of an ancient war, and an invasion of the Milky Way galaxy 120,000 years ago, which the Jarun'da fought against.  The offending invaders were named the So'Dan.  Following the discovery of this first outpost, the University of Cambridge, on Earth, agreed to fund Curtis' future expeditions in search of the Jarun'da.

By the 2350's Curtis had secured permission to lead expeditions within the Ra'Saak Imperium and Soan Confederacy.  Within the Ra'Saak Imperium she unearthed a single Jarun'da outpost, on Va Kanek IV, whilst within the Soan Confederacy she found no sign of the Jarun'da, though she did make several finds of ancient civilizations.

In 2396 Curtis was injured in an earthquake during a dig on Calima IV, for which she was hospitalized for several weeks, before returning to the site.  Luckily enough, the site was salvageable.

In 2408 Curtis lead an expedition to Mincheses V, where she unearthed her seventh Jarun'da outpost.  She retired a year later, and settled on Earth at the invite of the University of Cambridge.

In 2431 Curtis passed away from natural causes, at the age of 127.

In 2460, a number of universities and organizations co-founded the Curtis Trust, in honour of Anthea Curtis.  The Curtis Trust is a charity organization that funds countless expeditions and museums throughout the Commonwealth of Planets and beyond.

Arayineroulai
Kyrian ambassador.  Born in 2592 in the city of Raiasha, on Kyria Prime.  Arayineroulai graduated from Lysanka Giansial Academy, Kyria Prime, in 2618.  Served as Kyrian ambassador to the Kelmar from the 2630's, and was promoted to Ambassador-at-Large in 2670.

In 2683 he entered the negotiations to bring an end to the devastating was between the Commonwealth of Planets and the Rokal'Kvor Supremacy, finally securing a treaty (the Treaty of Moray) a year later.

In 2702, Arayineroulai came out of semi retirement to negotiate an end to the brief Kyrian-Anultsar border conflict, and two years later secured a treaty to end the Kyrian Alliance's war with the Ra'Saak Imperium.  He then fully retired.

In 2756, Arayineroulai passed away on Kyria Prime, at the age of 136.

Cirana of Dar'han (Cirana I)
The first empress of the Kelmar Star Empire, following the unification of the Kelmar homeworld in 1602. Ruled until 1628.

Kaazan Ra'Dakra
Zukari military officer and leader.  In 2635, following the Torin Accords (also known as the Document of Surrender), that ended the war between the Zukari Imperium and the Commonwealth of Planets, Ra'Dakra lead a military coup of the democratic Zukari government.  He ruled as President-General from 2635 to 2648, at which point he was replaced by General Ravoknar Kin'Tarh in another coup.

Kozak Izu-Zaurik
A field commander of the Rokal'Kvor Supremacy in the early 23rd century.  Kozak commanded the 3rd Order (a Rokal'Kvor military fleet) during the early days of the Rokal'Kvor war with the Kaelon Triumvirate, including the disastrous Battle of Aerosyn which initiated the war in 2217.  In 2219, following a number of failures, and the lack of any sort of victory, Kozak was removed from his post and dishonourably discharged, being replaced by Va'rak Ke-Viranar.

Kozak died in 2298 at the age of 143, destitute and alone on a remote Rokal'Kvor colony.

Maurizio Gesualdi
A prominent Human archaeologist of the Commonwealth of Planets in the mid 24th century.  In 2344 he discovered the first of several colony sites belonging to the Antichana, a species believed to be the first ever starfaring race in the Milky Way, long dead for billions of years.

Thomas Jameson
Human military officer of the Commonwealth of Planets in the late 27th century.  As a rear-admiral in 2683, Jameson led the Commonwealth's 16th Fleet against the Toq'sril Unity, in return for the massacre of 30,000 colonists on Donegal IV.  This was the first contact between the two powers.  Jameson attacked several outposts of the Toq'sril, and finally drew their fleet out in to open battle, which resulted in an overwhelming victory for Jameson and the 16th Fleet.

Va'rak Ke-Viranar
A Rokal'Kvor military commander.  Born in 2161 on Rokal Prime, Va'rak graduated from the Military Academy in 2179, and entered service with the Supremacy's star naval forces.

On the outbreak of the war between the Rokal'Kvor and the neighbouring Kaelon Triumvirate in 2217, Va'rak was second officer of the 5th Order, serving just outside of the war zone.  However, in 2219, with the stripping down of rank of Kozak Izu-Zaurik, who had failed to break through the Kaelon's lines, he was promoted to commander of the 4th Order, one of three fleets arrayed against the Kaelon.

Va'rak quickly proved to be a skilled tactician, and rapidly turned the tide of the war against the Kaelon.  It took a further four years of bloody fighting, but Va'rak would lead the Rokal'Kvor to victory against the Kaleon Triumvirate in 2223, ordering an orbital bombardment of the western continent of the Kaelon homeworld, resulting in the deaths of an estimated 5.3 billion Kaelon.

By 2228 Va'rak had worked his way up to commander of all Rokal'Kvor Military Central Command.

Va'rak remained as supreme commander for longer than any other Rokal'Kvor before or since, a total of 47 years, before his retirement in 2275.  For his retirement, Va'rak was given a heroes celebration.

Va'rak died of natural causes in 2299, at the age of 138.  His death was mourned by the entire nation, and an annual day of remembrance was instituted in his honour.
